I met Lauren and Ian over a year ago when we had our first consultation, I immediately knew this couple had great style. Lauren told me about her old Hollywood themed wedding, taking place at Brix restaurant, and I knew the theme suited this couple!
Meeting with them several times over the last year, we definitely clicked and I felt so welcome on the day of their wedding.
Renee Aird of Aird Events helped make the whole day flawless and Brix restaurant was the perfect venue for their theme. Luxurious style with a lot of class and sophistication was paramount for these two. Enjoy taking a look at some of my favorites from the day!

Some great friends of mine got married on August 9th and I had the honor of photographing their wedding. This wedding came together with a definite group effort!! I obviously did the photography, Jody’s friend graciously allowed the wedding the be held in her backyard, another friend did all the flowers, and so on…. you get the picture. It was a fantastic Vancouver day until it downpoured for about an hour getting most of the guests wet, but we all had big smiles and didn’t mind the weather so much. It makes a difference when it is such a great occasion…a little rain never hurt anyone and especially when there is a steel drum band there to make you feel like your are in a tropical rain storm. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day, it was a great one!!

I recently got to shoot some headshots for Rebecca. Her agent wanted a few variations in her look, so we enlisted makeup artist extraordinare, Dee West, who did a fabulous job! Rebecca was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to taking more photos of her soon!!!

It seems that I have had the opportunity to do a few headshots recently. I love trying to capture different moods with actors…
I believe Nadeem might have been channeling James Dean in a few of these!! He is one up and coming heart breaker…
