When a university friend of my boyfriends asked me to photograph his wedding I was touched and very very excited! Josh is a great guy, full of energy and not to mention the lead singer in the band, Catwater! Nancy is a fantastic lady herself and I can see why Josh is so smitten. The best thing about this couple is how much they laugh…it is contagious!
This was no small occasion, with friends flying in from all over the country, I had a feeling this was going to be not just a wedding but a fantastic party. The wedding took place at the beautiful Stanley Park Pavilion and it was a perfect Vancouver day for all the out of towners. Marrying just after sunset the party kicked into full gear and the pavilion was alive with music and dancing. Josh even got up for a few songs, serenading his new bride.
It was a great party and I am so happy that Josh and Nancy asked Jordan and I to be there for their day!

It is always an honor when another photographer asks you to take their pictures. Last week I had the pleasure of shooting the soon to be expanding family of Randal Kurt . Randal and Meralon wanted to capture some family time before the arrival of baby number 2. Little Connell was tearing up the beach, he is full of energy and the spitting image of his dad, he made my job seem like an easy one that day. They are a beautiful family and I look forward to meeting the newest member some time in October… Congrats you guys, thanks for the fun!!

Patty and Ryan are a great couple…not to mention super chill! Considering the wedding day transportation was the “aquabus”, I knew that these guys would be up for anything. Their sunny September Saturday made for some great shots, you even see me hard at work…
With a reception at the fabulous NU restaurant the day was perfect!

Heidi and Ron have the cutest family and they asked me to take some photos of them hanging on the beach, just a typical day!
It was not that typical of a day as it was their 5th anniversary that day and they wanted to capture their life at that moment. I was happy to be able to get some great shots of their growing family with Oscar stealing the show… he is too cute! The newest is Solomon, and although he was not as animated as Oscar he is just as cute (check out those frowns!)

It was one of the hottest days in Vancouver the day Anh and Vince got married!! August 16th went down in the record books as one hot hot hot day as well as the day that Anh and Vince tied the knot!
When you have such a great couple that equally create their own heat; the heat of the day seemed manageable. Take a look at some of the fantastic photos and you will be able to see how much they adore each other.
