I have the pleasure of photographing the Hancock family over the holidays… they are a great group of people. Coming into town for the holidays, the group welcomed the newest addition, Sophia, with a family photo shoot. They even had Honey the dog in on this one! It is always nice to see a family as close as this one…
Congrats on baby Sophia and safe travels home in the New Year!

Snow Day
December 18, 2008Very few Vancouver days end up like this one…with almost 20cm of snow in the downtown core, how could you not just take a few minutes to stop and enjoy the scenery.
Here are a few snapshots of the day the way it looked out my window!

Natalie and James
December 8, 2008For those who didn’t know, I was just in Jamaica for a beautiful destination wedding. Natalie and James are a fantastic couple with the most adorable daughter, Ella, they live in Squamish and decided to celebrate their marriage in Ochos Rios, Jamaica.
With friends and family flying in from all over Canada, it was a great time with lots of fun and warm tropical days. Here are a few of the trip, it was a pleasure to be there for their wedding and to meet such a great group of people!
Congratulations James and Natalie! You are both such beautiful people!

Little Ark Preschool
December 3, 2008Community is very important to me, so when opportunities come up to donate my services I jump on it. This December I have the pleasure of donating a Gift Certificate to Little Ark Preschool. Little Ark preschool is a non-profit, community outreach of West Point Grey Baptist Church. Little Ark Preschool has undergone many changes over the years in response to the needs of the community and the changes in early childhood education while maintaining a constantly high quality of instruction. Little Ark provides a nurturing environment for children where they can learn, grow, and enjoy making new friends. They are holding a silent auction/fundraiser December 4th. The money raised at the fundraiser enables the school to buy equipment, and supplies as well as lower costs for the families that use it’s services. Check out their website for more information: http://www.littlearkpreschool.com
Contests
December 3, 2008I have never really entered any contests before so I thought I would give it a shot this year! I narrowed it down to 10 pictures and I thought I would see if there are any opinions out there… so let me know what you think! The catagories are portrait, candid, details, and getting ready.
Wish me luck and hopefully one of these will garner me some accolades.
