Two of the sweetest people are getting married this weekend! Although growing up in the same town, Briar and Shaun didn’t meet until their twenties – it’s a good thing they did because they’re so in love! Briar is the owner of Epic Events, a great Vancouver-based company which specializes in weddings. Now it’s time for her to be the star bride, not just the star creative director! May 21, 2010I love these two…I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session a week or so ago and WOW they were so fun!! Avid Canucks fans they had to get their jerseys in a few photos…unfortunately there is no big win to celebrate this time but we will wait it out, right guys? We did our engagement session around UBC and down at the beach, and I have to say they rocked it!! I am looking forward to their big day in July! Thanks for the great times guys, you made it easy for me!!! 
Carly and Brandon- Engagement Session
April 20, 2010I photographed Carly and Brandon last week, again with a few reschedules due to weather and such, we finally had a great day to capture some beautiful images. Brandon proposed to Carly on Kits beach in Vancouver so we thought it was the obvious choice to do their engagement session photos. These two are so in love it is just ridiculous, I was smiling from ear to ear the whole time as I knew there were going to be some great shots from this session! I am so looking forward to their wedding in May, I have a feeling it is going to be spectacular! Thanks for the fun times guys, and I am glad it wasn’t painful Brandon!!

April 17, 2010I had the pleasure of photographing Robyn and Jeff last weekend, we wanted to get their engagement session in before the big day as their wedding is coming up on May 1st! A couple of rescheduled days due to weather we finally got a great day and spend a bit of time at VanDusen Gardens. They are a fun couple, with a lot of laughter….we had a great time! October 6, 2009Every once in a while you meet a client and instantly become friends… that is how I feel about Laura. I have worked with her a few times with some commercial work and we instantly had a great connection. She met the love of her life and decided to have me shoot their wedding. As you know, sometimes things don’t happen the way you originally plan. Dale and Laura decided to save their money to buy a house so the typical wedding in Vancouver ended up being a beautiful tropical wedding location instead. Now of course I offered to come with but they were saving their pennies for their house so instead they decided to do engagement photos before the wedding. So here are a few of my favorites…
